Our Pigs
At present, we do not have any pigs. Our daughter Emily is involved in pig research at the University of Guelph and we are not raising pigs at the present time due to biosecurity concerns.
We hope to eventually have Tamworth rare breed/Heritage pigs.

At Glenire Acres Farm, we raise our pigs in an environment in which they can express their natural behaviors. They are raised in small groups of 4 to 6 and are given barn shelter and plenty of room to play. Our pigs have a lot of space for rest and we provide bedding for them to sleep in.
Our pigs are well socialized and are used to being handled while feeding. This produces a less stressed pig when it is time to ship. Although our pigs are raised with plenty of Human contact, we do not raise pigs for pets.
